Galería Cayón is pleased to present this site-specific by David Magán. The work, measuring 200x200cm is made of methacrylate and stainless steel. It was created specifically for the gallery space at Blanca de Navarra 9, and it is titled "Cubo primario I".

"Cubo primario", Cayón, Madrid, 2016.

Magán was early interested in integrating the sculpture work with architecture, so he developed his iconic installations of color blocks,-hangin in the air- that we will keep seeing during all his career.

The methacrylate  material, and more industrial processes allow him a more flexible way of doing and better transmission  of his ideas.
