Herminio

Herminio in his studio, Asturias. © Miki López

Herminio was born at La Caridad, Asturias in 1945. He was Self-taught and his work has been based, since the start of his career, on physics and geometric research.

The pieces by Herminio explore the concepts of volatility and uncertainty, which happens to the spectators’ eyes as implausible elements. The simplicity and brightness of the shapes of the sculptures, show the link of the artist’s work with Suprematism.
