Al Taylor (1948-1999) was an American artist whose exploration on the two and three dimensions was totally innovative due to his original use of drawing and everyday life objects.
Al Taylor used common objects such as brooms, coffee cans and even hula-hoops, which provided a new visual and plastic meaning. In this way, his works were able to transcend simple visual observations to reveal new ways of understanding the world and the reality that surrounds us.
Taylor worked with drawing, sculpture and graphic work, techniques among which he did not establish hierarchical distinctions, using them all repeatedly to show in different supports and techniques his reflection and research on visual perception.
